Congratulations! The "Research and Industrial Application of Green and Clean Slickwater Fracturing Fluid" project of the Oilfield Chemistry Division has won the first prize of Jiebeitong Group Science and Technology Progress Award.
At 9:30 am on February 18, 2023, Jiebeitong Petroleum Technology Group Co., Ltd. held a review meeting for the Jiebeitong Group Science and Technology Progress Award project "Research and Industrial Application of Green and Clean Slickwater Fracturing Fluid" in the Academic Report Hall on the 13th floor of Tianzijie Commercial Building, Jinjiang District, Chengdu City. The meeting was chaired by Tang Hai, Senior Consultant and Director of the Research Institute of the company.

The meeting invited Zhao Jinzhou, former president of Southwest Petroleum University, professor, doctoral supervisor, and executive deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Development Engineering; Hu Yong, chief expert in oil and gas field development of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company, senior engineer; Cai Xufu, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University; Li Xiaoping, former dean of the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Southwest Petroleum University, professor, and doctoral supervisor; Zhang Hao, professor and doctoral supervisor of Chengdu University of Technology; Fan Yu, director of the Engineering and Technology Research Institute of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company, senior engineer; and Luo Qiang, secretary-general of Sichuan Petroleum Society, senior engineer, to form the expert review panel, with Zhao Jinzhou serving as the panel chair.

Xu Taiping, vice president of Jiebeitong Group, general manager of the Oilfield Chemistry Division, and senior engineer, reported from five aspects: research background, technological innovation achievements, tangible technological achievements, industrial application, and conditions for applying for the company's science and technology progress award.

The project proposed the mechanism of drag reduction and self-crosslinking viscoelastic sand carrying based on supramolecular structure, completed the molecular structure design, synthesis method, and structural characterization of supramolecular multi-polymer, optimized the production process of supramolecular polymers, built a 10,000-ton/year production unit, formulated the evaluation method for supramolecular polymers, completed the performance evaluation of the products, established the on-site construction standard for green and clean slickwater without mixing, invented and promoted the application of the supporting on-site continuous addition device, and other six major technological innovation achievements, which were highly recognized by the expert judges. The expert review panel reviewed the project in terms of technological innovation achievements, on-site application, and award review conditions, believing that the project has clear research objectives, clear technical approaches, and significant application results in addressing the three pain points of large-scale shale gas development, representing the technological level of Jiebeitong Company in shale gas slickwater. After questioning and discussion, the expert review panel unanimously agreed that the "Research and Industrial Application of Green and Clean Slickwater Fracturing Fluid" project meets the application requirements of the Jiebeitong Science and Technology Progress Award, and agreed to award the project the first prize of the Jiebeitong Science and Technology Progress Award according to the scope of rewards and award conditions.
