Jiebeitong's new cleaning fracturing fluid whitening agent achieved high yield in well 863
On May 5, 2019, Xinjiang Oilfield Development Company received good news: Well Bai 863 in the Permian Fengcheng Formation achieved industrial oil flow, with a daily oil production of 54.8 cubic meters. Currently, it is undergoing self-flowing testing with a 4mm oil nozzle, and the oil pressure is 12.3 MPa. Well Bai 863 is located in Area 8 on the lower plate of the Nanbaijiantan fault in the Ke-Wu fault zone of the western uplift in the Junggar Basin. It is an appraisal vertical well deployed to verify the oil content and production capacity of the Permian Fengcheng Formation reservoir expansion area in Area 8. The target formation mainly consists of gray fluorescent sandstone and conglomerate, with a relatively deep burial depth. It is a low-porosity, low-permeability reservoir with relatively well-developed natural fractures. It is sensitive to sand ratio, making sand addition difficult and increasing the risk of sand blockage. Jiebeitong technicians carefully analyzed the geological characteristics and reservoir sensitivity of the target formation of this well and selected a new type of clean fracturing fluid based on rock compatibility experiments. This fracturing fluid system has good viscoelasticity, excellent sand-carrying performance, low residue content, and low core damage rate. On April 20, the well successfully completed three-stage fracturing construction according to the fracturing engineering design. The construction displacement was 3.5 m³/min, the fracturing pressure was 52-55 MPa, the shut-in pressure was 10-11.6 MPa, 100 m³ of sand was added, the average sand ratio was 13.2%, the maximum sand concentration reached 360 kg/m³, the construction pressure was 40-52 MPa, the cumulative injected fluid volume was 1283.6 m³, including 661.5 m³ of pre-pad fluid and 606 m³ of sand-carrying fluid. The successful testing of the Fengcheng Formation in Well Bai 863 fully confirms the development potential of the reservoir expansion area in the Permian Fengcheng Formation of Area 8 and demonstrates that the Jiebeitong new clean fracturing fluid system provides technical support for the efficient development of this block. Next, our technicians will closely follow the actual on-site situation, continuously optimize the fluid formula, and provide high-quality services for Xinjiang Oilfield Company to increase reserves and production.
