On February 28, the Third Session of the Third Council of the Sichuan Provincial Circular Economy Association and the 2022 Annual Meeting were grandly held in Chengdu. Li Hongren, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress and former first vice president of the association; Zhong Qinjian, former vice director and inspector of the Sichuan Provincial Environmental Protection Department and president of the association; Zhao Lechen, chief engineer of the Ecological Environment Department; Zeng Yiping, second-level inspector of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Vice Presidents Ming Jin and Yang Youyi; Xu Xixian, first-level research fellow of the Environmental Resources Department of the Department of Economy and Information Technology; Chen Quan, director of the Monitoring Department of the Ecological Environment Department and vice president; Wang Zhuo, second-level research fellow of the Climate Change Response and External Cooperation Department; Wen Mang, deputy director of the Science and Technology and Finance Department of the Provincial Ecological Environment Department; Vice Presidents Tang Yifan, Huang Jun (also secretary-general), and Pan Zhicheng; leaders from the development and reform, economy and information departments of Panzhihua, Mianyang, Deyang, Guangyuan, Nanchong, Neijiang, Dazhou, Meishan, and Aba, as well as leaders from industrial park management committees attended the meeting. More than 180 people attended the meeting, including experts and scholars from Sichuan Normal University, Xihua University, and the Sichuan Provincial Environmental Planning Research Center, representatives from sister associations and industry enterprises, and representatives from veteran leaders and member units of the association. Vice President Yang Youyi presided over the meeting.

　　The annual meeting held an award ceremony for the Association's 2022 Science and Technology Series Awards, and a conferment ceremony for the Association's 2022 Outstanding Member Units, Sichuan Provincial Leading Figures in Circular Economy Development, the Association's Annual Star Branch Institutions, newly joined vice-president units, and low-carbon enterprises. The project "Research and Large-Scale Application of Fully Soluble High-Strength Temporary Plugging Agent and Chemical Isolation Device" submitted by Jiebeitong Petroleum Technology Group Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the Sichuan Provincial Circular Economy Association Science and Technology Innovation Award.
