On February 2, 2024, the 8th Global Sichuan Business Industrial Development Conference, themed "Setting a New Course and Creating New Growth," was held in Chengdu. This conference was guided by provincial-level departments including the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Sichuan Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, and the Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Promotion Center. It was hosted by the Sichuan Daily Newspaper Group, supported by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government Office in Beijing, and co-organized by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government Offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenyang, and Xiamen; global Sichuan (Chongqing) Chambers of Commerce; and the Enterprise Development Working Committee of the Sichuan Provincial County Economy Society. The conference was undertaken by the Chuanshang Magazine (Chuanshang Media).

　　To further promote the "New Sichuan Businessman" spirit in the new era, focus on promoting high-quality development in Sichuan, and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, the conference released the "Polishing Sichuan Enterprise Brands" cases and the "2023 Sichuan Business Excellent Brand Officer (CBO)" awards. Awards were also presented for "2023 Sichuan Business Good Projects." The "Jiebeitong" brand won the "2023 Sichuan Business Excellent Brand Case" award, and Jiebeitong Group Vice President Ao Ke won the "2023 Sichuan Business Excellent Brand Officer (CBO)" award.
